May 22, 2012 - you people obviously don't know your history this book was written by Harriet Beecher Stowe just before the civil war and it's about an older respected slave named Uncole Tom and also about the escape of another slave, Eliza, and her baby though not a true story it outraged northerners at how slaves were being treated while the south claimed it was an exaggeration and false accusation
